Vucic to attend Munich Security Conference

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will visit Munich on February 6 and 7 and attend the Munich Security Conference.

Vucic to attend Munich Security Conference

According to announcements from Munich, the 51st conference will open on Friday and it will gather around 400 leading politicians, heads of state and governments, as well as world experts who will discuss the issue of security at a time of terrorist threats, disintegration of the international order, European future in terms of security, the crisis in Ukraine, situation in the Near and Middle East and other matters.

The conference should be opened by German Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen and it should be attended by U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden, U.S. Secretary of State John Carry and Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

The gathering will also be attended by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, German President Joachim Gauck and several German ministers.
