The opposition DS says only one TV outlet with national coverage reporting about a party's concern about media freedoms in Serbia was an example of censorship.

Opposition Democrats criticize media

"The fact that (public broadcaster) RTS did not publish the resolution of one of the two largest political groups in Europe that gives the president of the EP and a third of European commissioners, about the critical state of media freedoms in Serbia, is the best and most obvious example of media censorship," said the DS.

The statement added that such behavior "only confirms the fact that the European Commission was mild in its assessment and that most media in Serbia cannot or will not make it possible to hear opinions different from what comes from the government of Serbia."
