Once the law enters into force, all those who import or export weapons and other military equipment will have to be listed on a special registry.

The new law defines the conditions required for the import, export and transport of defense equipment, licensing procedure and the jurisdiction of the related authority.

The parliament ratified the agreement between Serbia and Algeria on the exchange and protection of classified information related to defense and Convention 94 of the International Labor Organization regarding work clauses in public contracts.

A protocol accompanying the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the EU was also ratified. It acknowledges Croatia's accession into the EU.

The parliament also ratified an agreement with the Albanian Council of Ministers concerning veterinary cooperation.

A new session was started on Wednesday, with one item on the agenda, that being a proposal to adopt a set of amendments to the criminal code that would sanction Serbian citizens' participation in foreign conflicts as a criminal act.
