"The idea of future Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić to hold regular cabinet sessions on the topic is an excellent measure that will draw the attention of the entire government and all ministers to all matters related to the process of European integrations and the monitoring of the negotiations", Miščević told Wednesday's issue of Vecernje novosti.

Dedicated efforts are under way to ensure that some of the negotiation chapters are opened already by the end of June, during the Greek EU presidency.

"We are interested in the soonest possible start of negotiations on the difficult Chapters 23 and 24 on the rule of law, financial control, science and education and free movement of workers, and, of course, on Chapter 35, which is related to the agreements in the Belgrade-Priština dialogue," Miščević said.
