Dačić says his party has "nothing to do" with Delta owner
Dačić's statement came after his first deputy in the outgoing government and SNS party leader Aleksandar Vučić told the daily Danas in an interview that "some senior officials of the Socialists (SPS) attacked him because they were protecting Mišković.""Vučić made a reference to (Branko) Ružić, but that's all part of a political slogan that sounds good, but is fundamentally not true, because we have nothing to do with Mišković," Dačić told TV Pink.
Asked how he would react if the SNS leader asks him to leave Ružić - currently a member of the cabinet in charge of EU integration - out of the next government, Dačić said "that was not the way they spoke to each other."
"We never spoke in that manner, each party had the right to nominate their personnel and we did not interfere in that," explained Dačić.
He said that the relationship between the SPS and the SNS should be left to the parties' leaders - because their relationship was "good and they had no complaints about each other."
Dačić also said he expected "to get the trust of the citizens as he achieved significant results while leading the previous government."
"I'm looking at elections without pressure, and anyone wanting a safe bet should vote for the coalition SPS-PUPS-JS," Dačić said, adding that its MPs "will fight for Serbia to become socially and economically sustainable society."
