Right-wing party, movement sign cooperation charter

Obraz leader Mladen Obradović is in the list of candidates for members of the Belgrade city assembly, submitted by the Radicals to the Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) on Wednesday.

SRS Deputy President Nemanja Šarović told reporters that signing the Charter marks the beginning of gathering of the patriotic forces and expressed hope that their coalition will achieve a good result in the snap elections and enter the parliament of Serbia.

"In their election campaign, SRS will advocate for the termination of EU entry talks, annulment of the Brussels agreement on normalization of Belgrade-Pristina relations, and for shifting the country's orientation towards Russia," Šarović stressed.

Our aim is to create jobs, and we can only do that through a close cooperation with Russia, he said.

Obradović voiced his belief that the Serbian people will support patriotic forces and explained that the signing of the Charter on Cooperation was expected, as SRS was always on the side of Obraz in times of severe persecution, while Obraz reciprocated with their support to Vojislav Šešelj.

SRS leader Vojislav Šešelj has been held in the Hague Tribunal detention unit for more than 11 years, under indictment for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Bosnia, Croatia and the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina.
