Davenport: Serbia should be proud of its work

BELGRADE Michael Davenport expressed the belief on Wednesday that the first inter-governmental conference between Serbia and the EU would be held by the end of January, The head of the EU Delegation in Belgrade alsostated that Serbia should be proud of the achievements it made over the past year. Davenport: Serbia should be proud of its work Addressing the 41st assembly of the Permanent Conference of Cities and Municipalities in Belgrade, Davenport said that Serbia has made major strategic progress toward the EU and that Brussels is now actively preparing the framework between Serbia and the EU which the EU Council should adopt on December 20. The first inter-governmental conference with Serbia is also being prepared and it should be held very soon, most likely in January, Davenport said.
