BELGRADE The Office for Kosovo condemned in the strongest terms an incident in the village of Kos, populated by Serb returnees in Kosovo. There unknown perpetrators tried to steal two tractors belonging to the Obradovic and Savic families, and opened fire on local citizens. The attackers ran away from the village. In the last two months, this is the seventh attack on returnees and their property, the Office for KiM adds. "The Office for Kosovo and Metohija is urging the relevant bodies and international community to react and put an end to attacks on Serbs and their property in Kosovo and Metohija. We are requesting that the perpetrators of the attacks on the Obradovic and Savic families and all other attacks be found and brought to justice, as that would certainly contribute to the protection of returnees and their property in Kosovo and Metohija," the release reads.
