Intergovernmental conference date "depends on dialogue"

BELGRADE Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic said on Monday that the dialogue with Pristina would continue this week. The date for the first intergovernmental conference on accession to the EU will depend on the dialogue, he said. Dacic was addressing reporters in Vozdovac, where he was campaign ahead of early local elections in that Belgrade municipality. Dacic, who is the leader of the Socialists (SPS), said that Serbia is now "the closest it has been to the EU in its history, but still so close, yet so far away."
