Minister doesn't think he's "acting against state interests" He added that Mihajlovic "could explain who she had in mind, but I'm sure it's not me". Bacevic said that he feels as if there were "evil intentions of individuals" to create a rift between the two ministers who work well together in government and come the same party - the Progressives (SNS). Mihajlovic, who holds the energy portfolio, was on Sunday quoted as saying that "we have forgotten to check whether the work of our officials in the interest of the state," and that "a member of the government is saying the opposite of the state policy." "If I read in the diplomatic pouch a statement made by a member of the government that is contrary to the government policy, and at a public meeting abroad, or that he is recommending the company of his friends to do trade, I think that such a person should not be a member of the government," she said in an interview for the Belgrade-based daily Blic. Mihajlovic added that this minister, whom she refused to name, "should suffer further sanctions." Prime Minister Ivica Dacic said that he "had no such information," but added that it was "unacceptable that someone who is working against the interests of the state should be in the government." He also noted that if he in the future received information that would confirm the allegations made by Mihajlovic, this issue "would most certainly be a topic of discussion among coalition partners."
