"People are free from fear," says candidate In a statement for RTS, Pantic said that "nobody wants" the new mayor of the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica to come from the Albanian community and added that "experience has shown that in those areas in Kosovo where there are Serbs are not in power, there is no Serb population." According to him, the turnout in Kosovska Mitrovica in the first round of voting on November 3 "was not small" - but rather that people in that area "traditionally vote in the afternoon, when they come back from the weekend and finish the family lunch." He expressed the hope that the perpetrators of the incidents on November 3, when voting was interrupted, will soon be identified and brought to justice. (Beta, file) B92 Beta
