VALJEVO It is still possible that during a cabinet reshuffle, the Serb Progressive Party (SNS) and the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) "would swap certain ministries." This is what Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic said on Tuesday in Valjevo, western Serbia. Socialists and Progressives "could swap ministries" Dacic told reporters that the coalition partners have yet to discuss the issue, and explained that would require a change in the coalition agreement. "At the first meeting dedicated to the government reshuffle, officials of the ruling coalition talked about the goals that should be achieved after that," Dacic said, adding that these very goals will be discussed during this week. Next week, bodies of the ruling coalition will propose individual changes, and in the last week of July, the government and parliament will deal with the issue, Dacic said. "There will be no sweeping dismissals," the Serbian prime minister said, skirting around a reporter's question about which ministers could be "relieved of their duties," stressing that the talks have yet to focus on specific positions. "We have still not reached the phase to discuss this, but we definitely won't be quarreling," Dacic was quoted as saying. (Beta) Tanjug
