BRUSSELS Catherine Ashton welcomed on Monday the decision by Belgrade and Pristina to adopt the implementation plan for the agreement on the normalization of relations. "I would like once again to commend Prime Minister Dacic and Prime Minister Thaci for their leadership and determination. Their personal engagement will continue to be essential in view of a swift implementation of the plan," the statement added. Late on Monday, Dačić informed Ashton that his cabinet had adopted the implementation plan, agreed on last week in Brussels.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkić is set to attend a working dinner on Monday evening, which Ashton is organizing for foreign ministers of EU candidate countries.
