BRUSSELS A new trilateral meeting between Ivica Dacic, Hashim Thaci, and Catherine Ashton was held in Brussels on Wednesday afternoon. The participants announced afterwards that "agreement in principle" had been reach on a plan to implement the Brussels agreement reached on April 19. I am convinced they are determined to make progress and implement the Brussels agreement. We are meeting tomorrow again to confirm our commitment,” Ashton said after the meeting. The main topic of the meeting on Tuesday was the implementation of the agreement initialed by Belgrade and Pristina on April 19. In order to get a date for the beginning of the EU accession negotiations Serbia needs to reach a deal on the implementation of the agreement by the end of the week. A trilateral meeting between Dačić, Ashton and Thaci ended around 22:00 CET on Tuesday.
