BELGRADE Serbia’s First Deputy PM Aleksandar Vucic says that German FM Guido Westerwelle could say during his visit that he expects the implementation plan to be signed. “I do not expect either bad or too good news but I expect Westerwelle to say he expects the signing of the implementation plan so we could get a date (for the beginning of the EU accession negotiations,” Vucic told reporters when asked what could be expected from the German minister’s visit. The deputy PM said that he would have a “reasonable discussion” with Westerwelle and that he would inform him that Serbia believed it deserved to get a date for the start of the EU accession talks. “Therefore, they expect some kind of the implementation plan to be harmonized and I think that there will be no dilemma after that,” he noted.
