BELGRADE Serbian parliament's Committee on Kosovo Chairman Milovan Drecun has stated the Belgrade-Pristina agreement in Brussels is highly uncertain. He explained that it would be particularly hard to reach an agreement after the speech of Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci in the UN. Belgrade-Pristina agreement is “highly uncertain” “It is highly, I would even say dramatically, uncertain whether the agreement will be reached for the simple reason, which emerged particularly after the speech of Hashim Thaci in the UN, that Pristina is absolutely not ready for any kind of a compromise i.e. considering Belgrade's minimum interests,” Drecun told B92 on Saturday. He underlined that Belgrade and Pristina would either agree on the executive powers of the association of Serb municipalities in Kosovo or fail to do it and that “would be the end of the negotiating process”. “However, that does not mean that this would be the end of any talks on the future of Kosovo-Metohija,” Drecun pointed out. In his address to members of the UN Security Council, Thaci called on Belgrade to dismantle parallel institutions in north Kosovo, adding that Kosovo was a sovereign state and that this process was irreversible. Thaci also stated in New York that Pristina would seek war reparations from Belgrade. Milovan Drecun (Tanjug, file) B92 Tanjug
