MT. KOPAONIK, BELGRADE Serbian PM Ivica Dacic stated on Wednesday that it is uncertain whether EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton will pay a visit to Belgrade. Dacic told reporters on Mt. Kopaonik that Ashton's visit, as well as the meeting in Brussels on March 20, will depend on her assessment after her visit to Pristina. Ashton's visit to Belgrade uncertain Ashton's spokesperson Maja Kocijancic announced that Ashton will depart for Pristina on Wednesday evening to confer with local political leaders. She explained that this visit is part of preparations for the coming round of the Belgrade-Pristina political dialogue scheduled for March 20. However, Kocijancic could not confirm whether the EU high representative will visit Belgrade on Thursday. As Tanjug learned from unofficial sources in Brussels, the decision on Ashton's visit to Belgrade has not been made yet, and it will depend on the results of the talks in Pristina. One of factors which will be taken into consideration regarding this visit is the summit of the heads of state and government, which will kick off in Brussels on Thursday afternoon.
