LEPOSAVIC Northern Kosovo businessman Slavisa Milentijevic has announced that a protest will be held at the Jarinje crossing on Monday. He said that the protest would be held “because the agreement on the integrated crossings management is not respected”. N. Kosovo Serbs to hold protest at Jarinje crossing Monday Milentijevic said that northern Kosovo entrepreneurs would on Monday protest because EULEX and the Kosovo authorities violated the agreement. He told reporters that he had spoken with the EULEX checkpoint chief at the Jarinje crossing who said that EULEX officers had not received any new instruction regarding the payment of customs duty. Serbian PM Ivica Dacic had a meeting with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton in Brussels on Friday and requested that the agreement be respected and that customs duty not be paid until the new round of the talks on January 10. Milentijevic said that the protest would be held between 10:00 and 12:00 CET on Monday and that only priority vehicles would be allowed to go through during that time. According to him, EULEX, KFOR, Serbian police and Tax Administration have been informed about the protest. Milentijević said that northern Kosovo entrepreneurs would on Monday protest because EULEX and the Kosovo authorities violated the agreement.
