The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) says it is time for the Progressives, Socialists and the United Regions of Serbia (URS) to offer solutions to problems. The party believes that the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) and United Regions of Serbia (URS) should offer solutions for the problems that the Serbian society was facing instead of talking about negotiations on the new government. LDP calls for concrete solutions to country’s problems “The government is not being formed so that (SNS acting leader Aleksandar) Vucic, (SPS leader Ivica) Dacic, (URS leader Mladjan) Dinkic or anybody else would establish a balance of power and achieved their ambition, but in order to solve at least some of the most important problems in Serbia. Let them finally make the government and come before parliament with a program and then we will be able to talk seriously to the citizens about the best solution for the exhausted country,” the LDP said in the statement. The party warned that Serbia was facing budget the breakdown, collapse of the pension, health and social systems, big misunderstanding with some of the most important countries of the world, uncertain continuation of the EU integration process and big challenges in the Kosovo policy. “The SPS and URS are responsible for many of those problems, as ruling parties in the previous four years but the Progressives too, who offered easy and impossible answers to the causes of the problems in their campaign. Now is the time for them either to offer rational answers or to say that they are not capable of facing the problems,” the LDP pointed out. The party repeated that Serbia had had no efficient government and parliament for the previous six months and assessed that the consequences were obvious in the citizens’ everyday life, adding they were “tired of excuses and living in slow motion”.
