A two-day conference on integration and contribution of Southeast European states to a common security and defense policy of the EU will be opened Thursday. The conference, which is part of the project of security and defense aspects of Serbia’s EU accession will be opened at Serbian Army (VS) premises in Belgrade by Serbian Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac. Also participating will be officials of the Centre for Security Cooperation RACVIAC and EUFOR from Bosnia-Herzegovina, the statement said. The conference will be an opportunity to exchange knowledge and views in this field, State Secretary with the Defence Ministry Tanja Miscevic said, adding that this was the first time in history that the Ministry was organizing such an important gathering. “There will be about 150 participants, including guests from the country and abroad, observers, students and researchers,” she announced.
