The four Serbs who were arrested at an administrative crossing were sentenced on Thursday by the Kosovska Kamenica municipal court to 30 days of house arrest. One of the Serbs' lawyer Musa Mustafa told Tanjug the four would appeal the court decision. Kosovo: Serbs sentenced to "house arrest" The court did not grant the prosecutor's request to keep the men in custody, Mustafa stated. The Kosovo police (KPS) arrested the four Serbs at the Bela Zemlja administrative crossing on Tuesday. They are head of the Vitina municipality Srecko Spasic, municipal administration employees Ivica Nojkic and Aleksandar Stojiljkovic and police officer from Urosevac Svetozar Neskovic. They are suspected of undermining "Kosovo's constitutional system", because the KPS found electoral lists and the stamp of the Serb municipality of Kosovska Vitina in their possession. This is not the first arrest of Serbs at the Bela Zemlja checkpoint, which is located on the road between Bujanovac and Gnjilane, since the KPS arrested employees of Serbia's postal service twice as they carried mail from central Serbia. Interior Minister Ivica Dacic reacted to the incidents by saying that the arrests of Serbs would provoke "reciprocal measures" of the authorities in Belgrade. Tanjug
