The Committee on Kosovo did not hold its on Friday as Kosovo Minister Goran Bogdanovic and Belgrade negotiator Borislav Stefanovic once again failed to attend. Bogdanovic and Stefanovic informed the Committee they could not attend the session because the Serbian government still had not discussed the latest agreements between Belgrade and Pristina. Committee on Kosovo in new postponement Committee on Kosovo Chairman Ljubomir Kragovic said that the Committee would send a letter to Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic and request information about the date when the government would discuss the agreements and submit a report on the talks so Bogdanovic and Stefanovic would be able to attend the session. He added that if the government failed to submit the report in a reasonable period of time, the Committee would discuss the agreements based on information published by the media. The Committee also adopted a proposal to invite northern Kosovo Serb representatives to the session which would be attended by Bogdanovic and Stefanovic. The Committee also adopted a proposal to invite northern Kosovo Serb representatives to the session which would be attended by Bogdanović and Stefanović.
The Serbian parliament Committee on Kosovo’s session has been postponed six times in the last two weeks.
