Opposition SNS once again calls for early elections He added that it was not enough if only one minister resigned when there were only three months left of the government’s mandate and that the entire government should step down. According to the SNS leader, “the Serbian government has showed a lack of seriousness and terrifying irresponsibility with the policy it leads”. Vucic assessed that that it would be best for Serbia if the elections were held as soon as possible, adding that the current government, which had completely lost its credibility, was aware of the results showed by the polls and that a date of the elections “depends on the government representatives’ courage and arrogance”. According to him, that fact that Serbia did not get the EU candidate status is not the only reason why the government should resign and that it should do it because of the growing corruption and disastrous economic situation. The SNS deputy leader pointed out that each day without the current government was pure blessing for Serbia and added that the Progressives wanted to win the next elections and that they were only interested in providing a better life to the citizens.
