SRS: Govt. recognizes checkpoints as border

An official of opposition SRS says that when it "signed the agreement with PriStina" the government "recognized administrative checkpoints as border crossings". SRS: Govt. recognizes checkpoints as border SRS MP and deputy whip Aleksandar Martinovic told reporters in parliament today that the agreement which head of Belgrade's negotiating team Borislav Stefanovic reached with the Kosovo Albanian representatives refers to border crossings, which means "the Serbian government has recognized there is no administrative line between Serbia and Kosovo." Martinovic reminded that the SRS called for a parliament session a month ago so that MPs could vote on the agreements reached in the dialogue with Pristina and the situation in Kosovo. "It is scandalous that the UN Security Council is debating Kosovo, while the Serbian parliament has not done so since July," he concluded. He also said it was "scandalous" that MPs were receiving information about the content of the agreement with Pristina from the media.
