Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Sunday requested an emergency parliament session where the government would present the agreement on administrative crossings. SNS Central Committee member Marko Djuric told a news conference that the Serbian public had the right to know the contents of the agreement reached Saturday in Brussels and that all relevant political parties should voice their stands. SNS requests urgent parliament session “The statements by the authorities are terse and confusing, and nothing can be understood from them,” he said. “SNS demands an urgent session of the parliament at which the agreement should be presented and all relevant political parties enabled to voice their stands,” Djuric stressed. He added that it was unacceptable that only two or three people got to decide on the crossings issue. “SNS is asking the Serbian government not to renounce to Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija and their interests and to act in conformity with documents adopted by the Serbian parliament,” the SNS official pointed out. Djuric said that the Serbian government policy made life for citizens in all spheres difficult to the greatest possible extent and that the best solution would be a new government. “It is a vital interest of this country,” he concluded.
