Serbian President and ruling Democratic Party (DS) leader Boris Tadic has said he believes the political structure led by him will not lose the next election. He added that if that were to happen, Serbia would change its strategy and cut its present ties with the world. We are a country that communicates intensively with the world," the president remarked. “The political orientation of the opposition in Serbia is unrealistic,” he pointed out. “No one changes their opinion by simply changing their vocabulary,” Tadic stated, adding that a change in actions was also necessary and that he saw nothing of the kind. “There is a lot of populism in Serbia, a lot of hiding behind weighty and ambiguous words without stating clearly what needs to be done, without taking a risk and showing willingness to face problems,” he explained.
