Committee on Kosovo postpones session again

The Serbian Parliament's Committee on Kosovo only worked for a short while on Tuesday when it resumed Monday's meeting It will probably meet again on Monday after a new round of talks between Belgrade and Pristina. The SRS, meanwhile, asked the government how it was possible that the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue which should continue on Wednesday was not suspended after yesterday's violence in northern Kosovo, as was the case after the violence in September. The DSS believes that yesterday's event in northern Kosovo was caused by the devastating policy of the government in Belgrade and President Boris Tadic, adding that the solutions accepted in the dialogue, which are not in line neither with the Serbian Constitution or the Resolution 1244, spoke in favor of that. New Serbia (NS) MPs asked Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic who authorized Borislav Stefanovic to negotiate on behalf of Serbia, "and who will be bound by what Stefanovic agrees upon, particularly if solutions are unfavorable for Serbia".
