Chief of Belgrade negotiator Borislav Stefanovic stated late on Monday that the dialogue with Pristina will continue despite the clashes in northern Kosovo. He called on KFOR to stop removing the roadblocks by force. Negotiator: Dialogue continues despite clashes After the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Kosovo and Metohija, which was suspended after a two-hour debate because the committee's chairman Ljubomir Kragovicc (of the opposition Serb Radical Party) did not allow Stefanovic to address the committee members, the head of the Belgrade team told press that the forcible removal of barricades, set up by local Serbs, makes it harder to find a political solution for the administrative crossings. The talks will resume, because their suspension is wanted by those in Pristina who wish to blame Serbia for the current situation and clashes, and thus put the country in an unfavorable position, he said. According to Stefanovic, Belgrade will not let that happen, and the negotiating team will continue the talks in Brussels as planned. He also said that the team has a clear task, and recalled that the topics are Pristina's regional representation at multilateral forums, and administrative crossings, with the well-known stance that the solution must not jeopardize the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia and UN Security Council's Resolution 1244. If this condition is not met, we will not have any agreement. It would be clear then that this is a long process, full of challenges, and that no specific date, not even December 9, is more important than the fact that the problems have to be solved, Stefanovic noted. Commenting on Kragovic's decision to suspend the committee's session and thus prevent him from submitting the report on the results of the first round of talks, held on November 21-22, Stefanovic said "it is beyond all boundaries of the human, political and moral behavior."
