Belgrade team chief Borislav Stefanovic confirmed Sunday that the talks with Pristina would be continued on Monday. He added that the main topics would be university degrees, Pristina's participation in regional gatherings, as well as the administrative crossings in northern Kosovo. Belgrade-Pristina talks to continue on Monday Stefanovic told Tanjug that agreement was expected to be reached at least over one of the issues, adding that Belgrade was ready to agree on all of these issues. "These are the main topics which are more or less likely to end up in an agreement, we are yet to see whether this will be done at Monday's meeting since these issues are very complicated and Pristina's requests sometimes seem very, very unacceptable for us," the team head stressed. He underlined that the Belgrade team was arriving in Brussels with full mandate and support from the Serbian government, adding that whenever Pristina attempted to introduce any element of the so-called statehood of Kosovo, the Belgrade team would categorically denied that. Stefanovic also said that the talks would table the implementation of the agreements which had been reached so far and that progress was expected in that sense in the coming days. Brussels has also confirmed that the talks will continue on Monday afternoon in Brussels. "Both delegations have announced their arrival,” an EC official told Tanjug. According to the same source, Belgrade and Pristina will discuss electricity, telecommunications and Kosovo officials’ participation at regional meetings. “Aside from that, we expect to at least touch the issue of recognition of university diplomas,” the EU diplomat stressed. The two teams will also discuss implementation of the agreements that have been reached so far, including the one on the customs stamp. The talks were suspended in September due to disputes regarding Kosovo Albanian customs officers’ presence at the Jarinje and Brnjak administrative crossings. The continuation of the dialogue is a key condition for Serbia to get the EU candidate status on December 9. Borislav Stefanovic and Edita Tahiri (FoNet, file)
