Belgrade negotiator Borislav Stefanovic invited municipal presidents from northern Kosovo-Metohija for talks, which will take place in Belgrade on Wednesday. North Kosovo mayors invited for talks in Belgrade There is not much time, we should meet and state the options for the next period, Stefanovic said, while Pantic noted he will come to the meeting. Stefanovic pointed out that it is important to preserve the unity of Belgrade and Serbs in northern Kosovo in their presentation before the international community. Pantic said that in the previous talks between Belgrade and Pristina agreements were made which are not in keeping with the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia. The reached agreements are unacceptable not only for me, but for certain MPs of the ruling majority as well, he said, adding that by this, the Ahtisaari plan is already being implemented. Stefanovic rejected such claims, and stated that the government has adopted all the agreements from the talks with Pristina. All agreements from Brussels were adopted and submitted to the Serbian parliament, he said. He noted that the issue of implementation of the agreements is "a separate issue." The dialogue with Pristina is not about what Serbia will change in its constitutional or legal system, Stefanovic said, and reiterated that Serbia will not recognize the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo.
