Government EU Integration Office head Milica Delevic says the opinion the European Commission released Wednesday is very positive. It commends the reforms Serbia has carried out and sets no new conditions - according to this official. "EC commends reforms, no new conditions" In a statement for Tanjug, Delevic added it is a given that dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina will resume. "The positive opinion shows the European Commission has taken into consideration and commended the great effort Serbia has invested over the past few years to bring order into its society. This does not mean our work is done, but right now the Commission has found proper balance in commending what has been done and addressing the things that need more work," Delevic said. She added that, according to the Commission's opinion, Serbia is not required to conduct any more reforms before starting accession talks. Delevic also said the Commission has tied the starting date for the talks to Serbia making enough progress in the defined conditions, which are related to resuming dialogue with Pristina and other areas defined in the report. "This is a good sign that this really depends only on our progress," Delevic said. Milica Delevic (FoNet, file)
