Djukic-Dejanovic also stated that she "had a premonition" that the European Commission's opinion on Serbia's bid to become EU candidate would be favorable, adding that "we would be happy if it were very favorable". Deputy Prime Minister and Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) leader Ivica Dacic said on Tuesday that the country's new parliamentary elections would be held on their regular election date. “All I can now say is that the elections will be held on their regular date,” Dacic told Tanjug while commenting on a statement by his party colleague Djukic-Dejanovic.
