Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac on Monday dismissed claims about the the existence of a video of the incident at the Jarinje checkpoint on September 27. Seven Serbs and four KFOR soldiers were wounded during the clash. Defense minister: There is no Jarinje video He said that that the story about the alleged video had been spread out by certain media and called it an act of disinformation of the public. Leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Cedomir Jovanovic and Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO) leader Vuk Draskovic have raised the question as to what really happened at Jarinje on September 27, as well as what the Serbian parliament's Defense and Security Committee discussed regarding the incident, at its recent session that was held behind closed doors. The reports by relevant services and agencies that were presented at the session were marked as state secrets. Sutanovac said that the meaning behind classified information was to prevent something that might prove a security problem from being brought out to the open. “I insist on that being respected, as there is not a single country in the world making their secrets transparent to the citizens,” the defense minister said.
