Despite the agreement that the Serbian government and KFOR reached on Friday, situation in north Kosovo remains unchanged. Barricades set up by local Serbs still have not been removed. Barricades remain in place in north Kosovo Last night was peaceful at the barricades in Rudare, Zupce and Leposavic. Serbs’ political representatives are holding consultation and trying to decide whether they will accept the agreement with KFOR. Kosovoska Mitrovica Municipal President Krstimir Pantic, Zvecan Municipal President Dragisa Milovic, Zubin Potok Municipal President Slavisa Ristic,Leposavic Municipal President Branko Ninic and Kosovska Mitrovica District Head Radenko Nedeljkovic spoke with the citizens at the barricades on Saturday and asked for their opinion, which will be valuable in the decision making process. KFOR vehicles carrying food and water to their bases in the north are normally passing through and there have been no incidents. Belgrade team head Borislav Stefanovic has said that they are close to reaching a full consent with local Serbs regarding the agreement. After last night’s meeting with northern Kosovo Serb representatives, Stefanovic said that he felt that the government and citizens “are on the same page”. Conclusions that should be adopted at the coming assembly of the four northern Kosovo municipalities were agreed on at the meeting held on Saturday. One of the barricades in north Kosovo (Tanjug) Medical supplies from Serbia arrive in Kosovo Necessary medical supplies, provided by the Serbian Health Ministry, Serbian Red Cross and the Commodity Reserves Directorate, arrived in Kosovo today, the Health Ministry has announced. According to the announcement, the Health Ministry will contunue to provide Kosovo health institutions with necessary medical supplies.

Medical supplies from Serbia arrive in Kosovo

Necessary medical supplies, provided by the Serbian Health Ministry, Serbian Red Cross and the Commodity Reserves Directorate, arrived in Kosovo today, the Health Ministry has announced.
