Northern Kosovo Serb municipal representatives held a meeting Saturday and called on citizens at the barricades to be responsible and announced a new session. The new meeting, at which Serbs will discuss the agreement with KFOR, was scheduled for August 9. Serbs to decide on removal of barricades on Tuesday Northern Kosovo municipal assemblies decided today at the meeting held in Zvecan to hold a joint meeting on Tuesday in order to discuss all details of the agreement that had been reached with KFOR. The participants of the meeting did not address journalists afterward but according to a written announcement, current political and security situation will be discussed at the next meeting, especially the agreement between the Serbian government representatives and KFOR. Kosovska Mitrovica, Zvecan, Leposavic and Zubin Potok municipal presidents called on the citizens at the barricades “who are expressing their dissatisfaction with Albanian authorities’ violent attempt to take control” to remain united, act responsibly and remain determined to survive in this area and in their country, Serbia. Northern Kosovo municipal assemblies decided today at the meeting held in Zvečan to hold a joint meeting on Tuesday in order to discuss all details of the agreement that had been reached with KFOR.
