Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic believes that the government is more efficient after the reshuffle. He points out, however, that it is still too early to talk about the effects of the economic measures. PM: Reshuffled government more efficient Cvetkovic says that the government’s goal is to make citizens lives easier as soon as possible. The government was reshuffled two months ago. “As far as operational part is concerned, the government is working better now because you have a smaller number of people in the government, so the government’s efficiency has been improved,” the prime minister told B92. Analysts, however, point out that not much has changed in the government’s work and that the ruling coalition still has trouble agreeing on certain issues. Cvetkovic says that the determined goals have been adjusted to the fact that the government only has a year left before its mandate expires. He explained that the goals should help improve citizens’ standard of living and increase employment. It is still early to say how these measures would affect the government’s rating, but the citizens’ standard of living would definitely be the main topics of the election campaigns.
