Officers of the Serbian police (MUP) this afternoon in Belgrade completed their search of an apartment owned by Darko Mladic. It has been announced that the search was carried out on an order issued by War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic. Police search house belonging to Mladic's son Darko Mladic is the son of former military leader of Bosnian Serbs Ratko Mladic. The War Crimes Prosecution said in a statement that the operation's goal is to collect evidence and traces that would indicate to the location where Mladic is hiding. During the past 14 years, military and residence structures, as well as homes of the members of his family and his helpers have been searched on numerous occasions in Serbia and in the Republic of Srpska (RS). Mladic is wanted by the Hague Tribunal, accused of war crimes and genocide. (Beta)
