Serbian President Boris Tadic feels well and the early postoperative course is running smoothly, said his cabinet. According to the statement made in Belgrade on Monday, his doctors recommended that he should stay in hospital for several more days for rehabilitation purposes. Upon leaving the hospital, the president will continue his rehabilitation treatment at the Military Medical Academy (VMA) in Belgrade, the statement reads. Tadic underwent an operation of the Achilles tendon of his left leg at the MMA on Thursday. The surgery was performed by a surgical team headed by Professor Sakari Orava, a Finnish orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist.

Upon leaving the hospital, the president will continue his rehabilitation treatment at the Military Medical Academy (VMA) in Belgrade, the statement reads.
