The ruling Democrats (DS) in the northern town of Subotica have a new local branch leader, and he is Modest Dulic. Modest is the brother of DS official and cabinet minister Oliver Dulic. Minister's brother heads local party branch A secret ballot also saw 25 members of the party council in this town elected from 35 candidates running. Modest Dulic, however, was the only candidate for position of the chairman of the local party board. Dulic said that he expected "greater mobility and organizational strengthening ahead of local elections", and also, "fulfilling promises made previously".
