Minister for Kosovo and Metohija Goran Bogdanovic says the status of Serbian property in Kosovo has to be negotiated. If this does not happen, Serbia will file charges to competent institutions, he said. Belgrade could sue over Kosovo property "The hasty transfer of jurisdiction to Pristina (Kosovo Albanian) institutions resulted in a general plunder of property, which is contrary to UN Security Council Resolution 1244," Bogdanovic underlined. "Yet another issue which has to be raised, apart from that of property, are the investments which Serbia directed to Kosovo and Metohija through various funds," he added. According to Bogdanovic, Serbia will try to solve this problem with EULEX and UNMIK, and then, if that does not prove fruitful, other options will be considered. "If this does not yield results, we will consider other scenarios which would imply the protection of proprietary rights of persons and the state.
