Serbian President Boris Tadic met Czech President Vaclav Klaus, Portugal's PM Jose Soctares and Sweden's Foreign Minister Carl Bildt in New York on Saturday. These meetings, together with his address to the UN General Assembly, complete Tadic's several-day visit to New York, where he attended the 65th session of the UN General Assembly. Tadic meets Klaus, Bildt and Soctares Tadic had a series of meetings during his stay in New York, all in the effort to secure support for Serbian view that dialogue is the only way to reach a sustainable and mutually acceptable solution for Kosovo and that the whole region needs to become a part of the EU as soon as possible.
