Ruling coalition to confer after president's return

Serbian Deputy PM and Minister of Interior Ivica Dacic said on Saturday the ruling coalition had not discussed the platform for the negotiations with Kosovo. He added that it would probably happen after President Boris Tadic returned from New York, where he attended the 65th session of the UN General Assembly. Ruling coalition to confer after president's return Serbia should insist on dialogue and discuss all issues, not just the technical ones, which is what Kosovo officials advocate, Dacic told reporters. The minister, who also heads the Socialist Party of Serbia, stated it would be impossible to discuss any issues without talking about Kosovo status. He added there would be no significant changes to Serbian view. According to Dacic, Serbia has shown that it does not pose a problem, but instead wishes to be a part of the solution.
