President Boris Tadic sent his condolences to India after scores of its citizens died in a plane crash this weekend. “Accept our deepest condolences in the name of the Serbian people and myself personally,” Tadic wrote in a telegram sent to Indian President Pratibha Patil. Tadic sends condolences to India At least 158 people died in the crash of the Air India aircraft. It was coming from Dubai and ran off the runway while trying to land in Mangalore. Only eight people survived the crash. Mangalore is located 400 kilometers west of Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka.
