Thaci "ready to shake hands with Tadić"

Kosovo Albanian Prime Minister Hashim Thaci says that he is ready to speak and shake hands with President Boris Tadic. He also said that his government "will not force Serbs to integrate into the rest of society". He added that he planned to attend a conference of regional political leaders in Slovenia later this month and "would be glad to shake hands and talk with Serbian President Boris Tadic". “I have no dilemma and am not hesitating to shake hands with any leader who is elected in a democratic way, including Tadic,” Thaci said. “We are leaders and have to go beyond the past and focus on the future.” Thaci said that he was ready to fight corruption, describing it as "an illness that we have inherited". “There will be no compromises, where there is corruption it will be fought,” said he.
