Ljajic confirms receiving death threats He told reporters in Belgrade that the letter came from the same address as the previous ones, and that it had been hand-written. “All the notes so far have similar content and are mentioning Hague indictees Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic,” he said. Ljajic pointed out that this was not the first time he was receiving threatening letters, stating that he had been receiving them "for a long time in intervals". “Judging by the handwriting we can conclude that it was written by the same people and sent from the same address and the same country,” he said and added that it was “good as long as the threats were only verbal and written.” Ljajic explained that he was threatened because of Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic, while Goran Hadzic was not mentioned, and stated that the letter had been forwarded to the "competent investigative authorities". Previously. President Boris Tadic and War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic also received death threats in letters. Those were sent from Chicago, U.S., and it was suspected that they were written by the same persons who had been sending similar letters during the previous years. The letters were signed by organizations calling themselves the Black Eagle, the Condor’s Leap and the Serb Liberation Movement Illinois.
