The decision to abolish EU visas for Serbian citizens should be made November 30 or December 1, Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said Tuesday. Dacic, who is also first deputy PM in the Cvetkovic cabinet, said that the decision would come into force on December 19. "Decision on visas Nov. 30 or Dec. 1" "Today's joint meeting of the Council of Europe committee for the Western Balkans, comprising representatives from all EU member countries, was organized to discuss Serbia's progress in areas that required additional effort to fulfill the criteria set down in the visa liberalization Road Map, all based on the report from the EU expert mission that visited Serbia recently," Dacic told Tanjug late on Tuesday. According to him, the conclusion of the meeting in Brussels was that Serbia had achieved progress in all four key areas related to visa liberalization, and that there were no other open issues on the subject.
