Serbian President Boris Tadic has congratulated U.S. President Barack Obama on his Nobel Peace Prize. Tadic stated he hoped the award would be "guarantee for a future policy of peace". Tadic congratulates Obama Tadic's press service announced in Belgrade on Saturday that the message stressed that the world "needs to see conflicts resolved through dialogue and compromise, that should replace the policy of imposed solutions". The Nobel Committee announced on Friday that it decided to give the prize to Obama because of his efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between people.
