A delegation led by President Boris Tadić continued its visit to China on Sunday, meeting with Chinese company officials interested in investing in Serbia.

A delegation led by President Boris Tadic continued its visit to China on Sunday, meeting with Chinese company officials interested in investing in Serbia. Tadic was in Xi’an on Saturday, where me met with the vice governor of the Shanxi province and visited cultural and historic landmarks of the ancient Chinese capital. Tadic earlier met with the Chinese prime minister and president regarding political topics and the possibility of developing economic cooperation between the two countries, agreeing on a strategic partnership for establishing stronger economic projects between the two countries. There was also talk of cooperation in science and technologies, along with infrastructure, with special attention being put on the plan for constructing a bridge between the Belgrade communities of Zemun and Borca. The Chinese media have put a spotlight on the visit of the Serbian delegation, which also includes Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic and Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic.
