Opposition Serb Radical Party (SRS) deputy leader Dragan Todorovic has commented on possible cooperation with the Serb Progressives (SNS). The SNS, led by former top ranking Radical official Tomislav Nikolic, was formed less than a year ago when it broke off from the SRS. The SNS never faced parliamentary elections but its MPs kept their seats in parliament, won by the SRS before the split, which led to acrimony between the two opposition parties. Radicals: Coalition with SNS "might be possible" Now Todorovic said that if the SNS returns its mandates taken from SRS during the split, "and if there is a possibility of a program government", the Radicals would consider cooperation. Todorovic said that clearly defined goals are needed related to economic recovery, decisive fight against crime and for the preservation of Kosovo. However, the main condition is that the Progressives give back the mandates to the Serb Radicals, he told Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti. Asked whether the government could topple if controversial the draft changes to the Law on Public Information are not adopted, or if the opposition LDP help adopt the bill, Todorovic told the newspaper that there already was cooperation between the government and opposition, and mentioned the SNS securing a quorum for them "300 times during the session before the last". "I am sure that Dinkic will go all the way when he faces the judiciary. If what he is suspected of doing is proven, then he will have to face the music", Todorovic said when asked whether ruling G17 leader and Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic is ready to bring down the government. Todorovic denied that party leader Vojislav Seselj, on trial at the Hague Tribunal, is steering them toward isolationism, stating that it is “funny that moves that are nothing more than agreement with our existing ideologies and policies are proclaimed for Seselj's orders. We are not trying to charm anyone, we are just protecting our own principles.”
