The Kosovo Albanian government has passed a decision for the purchase of buildings in Washington, London, Paris and Brussels, to house its embassies.

The Kosovo Albanian government has passed a decision for the purchase of buildings in Washington, London, Paris and Brussels, to house its embassies. According to a statement released in Pristina, the government adopted a request of its foreign ministry to start with buying only four buildings due to a limited budget. Kosovo to purchase embassy buildings Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci said that the government would focus on these embassies because of the amount of money it currently has to work with. Vlora Citaku, appointed as deputy foreign minister, said that EUR 10mn has been secured for the purchases, even though the previous government decided that EUR 25mn would be set aside buying embassy buildings. Workers in ten Kosovo embassies around the world are currently working in rented buildings and are facing many problems as far as space and logistics are concerned, reports said.
